Golf Cart Insurance
The laws regarding golf carts and insurance are murky. All Pro Carts asks you to check with your local authorities on what they do or don’t require.
Georgia law leaves it up to each county to decide on what insurance is required so it is suggested you get insurance on your cart as your homeowner’s policy would only cover the cart while its parked at your residence.
Insurance on carts generally can be acquired for about $100 per year.
Can I trade in my old cart?
All Pro Carts will give you a researched and competitive price on any golf cart you would like sell or trade for another cart.
Our experienced professionals advise you on how to sell your cart or if you purchase a cart from us, you can consign their cart for them at a 5% fee. This is a great advantage for you, the customer, as you will get retail value for your cart rather than wholesale value.

GAS vs ELECTRIC CARTS
Gas Carts
CONS
• Not as powerful as the RXV AC motor.
• Although not loud because the engine only turns on contact with the gas pedal (doesn’t idle) the gas cart will be louder than an electric cart.
• Routine maintenance. The manufacturer suggests a tune up and oil change be performed each year on a gas cart.
• Operating costs. High-grade fuel is required to operate a gas cart.
• People are sensitive to smell generally can smell the fumes on a gas cart.
• Have the traditional brake pedal that must be pressed to lock the cart and can be disengaged when pressing the gas pedal.
